My Approach

I love meeting new people, hearing their stories and providing the assistance they need to make their own decisions about their dental health. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to connect and care for so many others throughout my career and my hope is to continue providing guidance and service in all aspects of dental care with the personal benefit of nurturing old relationships and obtaining new acquaintances and friends!

I graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine in 1982 after serving for four years in the US Army during the Vietnam War. I was then commissioned as an Army Dentist, where I served for the next four years. Having met my husband, Darrel,
also an Army dentist, we moved to Idaho, Darrel’s home state, in 1986, where we have worked together for over 25 years.
Darrel and I love living in Boise and enjoy all it has to offer, from biking and hiking in the foothills to connecting with friends and giving back to community. We have four wonderful children, five even more amazing grandchildren and of course, a dog and a cat.

Several years ago, Darrel and I had the opportunity to take a four month sabbatical and ride a tandem bike across the US from Washington State to Washington DC(over 4000 miles) for Wounded Warriors. Thanks to many of you, we were able to raise over $100,000.00 for a cause that went directly to many individual wounded warriors and their families. Our love of connecting with others and giving back to our community drives our desire to continue doing what we know best: Conservative dentistry, co-planned by doctor and patient, providing you with the ability to make a decision about what is best for you.
